In keeping with our commitment to minimising environmental impact, Pāteke Lodge has invested in a New Zealand-made Evnex smart charging station, so guests can charge their electric vehicles (EVs) while staying with us.
Conveniently located in the guest car park, the 7.4 kW unit can provide up to 40km of range per hour with both type 1 and type 2 connectors available. Charge for free when you book your stay directly with us. Otherwise, the cost of electricity ($0.50/kWh) used for charging will be added to your bill and will need to be settled directly with Pāteke Lodge at check-out. A proximity tag is required to start the charger, so please request one at check-in if you wish to use it.
