What You Need to Know About Staying at Pāteke Lodge
Check-in time is from 3 pm – 8 pm. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving after 8 pm.
Check-out time is 10 am.
Early check-in or late check-out times MAY be available upon request. Please contact us directly to arrange.
We will do our best to accommodate your request but prior/subsequent reservations may limit our ability to do so. We’re happy to mind luggage for early arrivers.
If you are unable to make your reservation please contact your booking agency, or us if booked directly, and we will aim to re-book you so you avoid incurring cancellation fees.
If re-booking is not possible, cancellation fees work like this:
If you have booked one room you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days prior to your check-in date, after which you will incur a charge equal to the cost of your first night’s accommodation.
If you have booked a multi-room special or a package deal you can cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to your check-in date, after which you will incur a charge equal to the cost of your first night’s accommodation.
After check in, if your plans change and you decide to check out early, you will incur a charge equal to the cost of your next night’s accommodation.
A credit card number with a current expiry date is required to confirm all reservations made on our website. Payment is NOT processed when making a reservation, but your card will be assessed to confirm its validity.
All accounts are to be settled on check-out unless paid prior. We can simply charge the credit card you entered on booking or you can use one of the following payment options.

All tariffs are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include 15% government Goods and Services Tax.
Pāteke Lodge is a non-smoking/vaping property.
Children over the age of 12 years can be accommodated within the maximum guest and bedding limitations of each room.
As our own pet cat Jack lives on-site, we are unfortunately unable to welcome yours.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, and keto breakfast options are available. Please contact us directly with your requirements prior to arrival.
All potentially allergenic and/or religiously restricted food types (e.g. nuts, pork, beef, etc.) may be used in the kitchen used to prepare your breakfast. Please take this into account when booking with us.
Unfortunately, the lodge is not set up for guests with limited mobility.
An extra rollaway bed is available for the Takahē suite ONLY and must be requested at the time of reservation. An extra charge applies.
1.1 These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the use of our Pāteke Lodge accommodation Web Site (Web Site) and the online booking services provided through it (Services).
1.2 By accessing or using the Web Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Web Site or Services.

2.3 You must not use the Web Site or Services to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials, or any other form of similar solicitation.
2.4 You must not use the Web Site or Services to impersonate another person or entity or to falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity.
2.5 You must not use the Web Site or Services to publish or disseminate any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
2.6 You must not use the Web Site or Services to publish or disseminate any content that is in violation of any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
3.1 The Web Site and Services may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance or other reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Web Site and Services available, but we do not guarantee that the Web Site or Services will always be available.
Booking and Payment
4.1 You must provide current and valid credit card details to secure a reservation. Unless otherwise specified on the Web Site we do not require payment until your stay. Please see the “How and When Do I Pay?” section for details.
4.2 You must provide accurate and complete personal and payment information when making a booking.
4.3 We reserve the right to cancel any booking if we are unable to verify or process your payment information.
5.1 We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any person as a result of using the Web Site or Services, except as required by law.
5.2 Whilst we do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, we do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any person as a result of any errors or omissions on the Web Site or in any information provided through the Services.
