Continue on Pungaere Rd 110m, turn left into Koropewa Rd;

Turn left off SH1 at Awanui onto SH10 (signs for Bay of Islands);
Continue on SH10 for 83km, and turn right into Pungaere Rd (signs for Manginangina Scenic Reserve);
Continue on Pungaere Rd 110m, turn left into Koropewa Rd;
Continue on Koropewa Rd 850m, and Pāteke Lodge is on the right.
Travel north on SH11 to the Waitangi roundabout, and take the first exit;
Continue on SH11 for 12.6km to the Puketona roundabout, and take the third exit.
Continue on SH10 6.4km to the Kerikeri roundabout, and take the second exit;
Continue on SH10 6.0km to the Waipapa roundabout, and take the second exit;
Continue on SH10 650m, turn left into Pungaere Rd (signs for Puketi Kauri Forest);
Continue on Pungaere Rd 110m, turn left into Koropewa Rd;
Continue on Koropewa Rd 850m, and Pāteke Lodge is on the right.
Travel east on SH12 to Ohaeawai, and continue straight onto SH1.
Continue for 7.7km, and turn left at Pakaraka onto SH10 (signs for Doubtless Bay);

Bay of Islands Airport (KKE) is the Far North region’s main air transport hub and a mere 10-minute drive from Pāteke Lodge. Air New Zealand operates several return flights per day from Auckland which connect with international and domestic flights. Additionally, hire cars can be picked up from the airport with major international and local providers onsite.
